It began well before 2007, the year we founded Quotient Travel Planner.
Avid travellers from young, we constantly shunned mass group tours and instead were attracted to private or small-group experiences that spoke to us. Over time, we amassed a wealth of research on attractions, activities and experiences, creating travel itineraries that our friends ended up borrowing for their own trips.
We soon realised there was a growing community of travellers who desired private customised travel but were frustrated at spending countless hours planning a personalised holiday themselves. It was a scary prospect for two engineers by training to start up a bespoke travel business at a time when paying for someone to design your holiday was a rarity, but we're glad we embarked on the Quotient journey.
It led us down many pleasant paths, from by-invitation-only luxury travel affiliations such as PURE Life Experiences and Hyatt Privé to being one of five Asia founding members of Virtuoso to working with the likes of National Geographic for the first two editions of the National Geographic Live! speaker series in Singapore.
The COVID-19 global pandemic threatened our very existence but it also gave us an opportunity to reflect and innovate. We grew more conscious of travel as a force of transformation, not just for the traveller but also for communities that depend on tourism. It also showed us clearly our innate desire to explore the grandeur of our world, and the responsibility to care for cultures, wildlife and the environment.
Fast-forward to 2022, there's no denying that a new travel era has descended upon the world. Our perspectives have changed – now, more than ever, we want to feel free, truly relax and be wowed. We want to focus on our personal well-being and on nourishing our soul.
WONDERGOLANDER is the expression of our embracing of the new norm – a drastic new haircut, if you will. It's a nod to exploring different lands, experiencing new thrills, and thinking big, playing big.
Our new name has a tinge of whimsical charm, reminding us that in spite of life's uncertainties and gargantuan challenges, we ought to stay curious, have fun and get creative. It whisks us to faraway places – literally and figuratively.
Our mission remains unchanged, nor has our dedication to private customised travel. We're committed to orchestrating grand, purposeful holidays that unveil what our extraordinary world has to offer. Our ultimate desire is to make the world a better place by inspiring travellers to become better versions of themselves.

Javiny Lim
When not poring over client proposals and business reports, you’ll find Javiny on the course trying to fulfil her pro golfer ambitions, planning her next driving holiday or catching up with friends over aged whisky. Her try-everything enthusiasm has led her to different corners of the world, including Antarctica.
Lim Hui-Juan
A Six Sigma Black Belt, Hui-Juan is wired with just about the right amount of patience and smarts to figure out how things work. The keen photographer and growing advocate for sustainability enjoys unhurried conversations about wildlife conservation and considers herself a fan of the slow food movement.
