Lose track of time but find yourself one with nature in the monumental Rift Valley, the vast Serengeti plains or the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater
Make your experience a truly exceptional one with each sumptuous safari lodge and tented camp located right in the heart of the action and serving as an extension to game viewing
Travelling time is kept to a minimum despite the impressive distances with the inclusion of three air transfers – that means you’ll have more time for immersive experiences such as interacting with local communities and nomadic tribes or exploring the Olduvai Gorge, dubbed the Cradle of Mankind

CONTINUE YOUR JOURNEY
Day 1 – Arrive into Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, be greeted by your English-speaking guide who will accompany you on your chauffeured vehicle to Arusha Coffee Lodge.
Spend the day recovering from the lengthy flights and enjoy a leisurely dinner at The Bistro or The Grill Room before your adventure kicks off tomorrow.
Day 2 – Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Your personal chauffeur will send you to Arusha Airport for your scheduled shared air transfer to Manyara National Park.
Upon arrival at Manyara Airstrip, be picked up by one of the English-speaking team members of andBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. You will share this transfer should there be other property guests on the same flight.
Depending on your time of arrival, you might embark on your first safari game drive on this trip.
Lake Manyara National Park offers a wilderness experience in diverse habitats, from its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Apart from a spectacular setting, the park is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions and the vast elephant herds it was established to protect.
Day 3 – Lake Manyara National Park
Enjoy a leisurely bike ride through the nearby Mayoka community with an expert andBeyond guide. Cycle through this bustling village and interact with the friendly, local people, perhaps even crossing paths with the nomadic Mang’ati tribe (also known as the Datooga tribe) adorned with traditional animal skin cloaks, textured skirts and colourful beads.
Peddle on a picturesque route to the lakeshore, where you can spot bright pink flocks of flamingos.
Make sure you have a hearty dinner before heading out for your evening game drive; andBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is one of the few lodges in Tanzania which offers guests the opportunity to encounter sightings of nocturnal predators.
Day 4 – Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater
Enjoy an early morning breakfast before you take a scenic land transfer from Lake Manyara to the UNESCO World Heritage-inscribed Ngorongoro Crater. This might be a shared transfer if there are other property guests undertaking the same journey.
Enjoy the panoramic views from your Suite that sits right on the edge of the largest intact caldera in the world.
In the evening, head out for a game drive and try to spot some wildlife. Consider celebrating your sightings with a private dinner in the wine store (additional cost).
Day 5 – Ngorongoro Crater
Two game drives await you today.
Sixteen highly endangered black rhino are protected within the Crater’s rim, giant tusked elephants wander the forests, around seventy black-maned lions stalk the grasslands, and flamingos crowd the soda lakes. Cheetah move in and out of the Crater, while leopard are most often encountered in the spectacular Lerai Forest.
Day 6 – Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
Take a land transfer to Manyara Airstrip (might be shared with other property guests if they are on the same flight) for your shared air transfer to Lobo Airstrip.
On arrival, take a scenic transfer to andBeyond Klein’s Camp.
The Serengeti National Park, meaning “endless plains” in the Maasai language, is Tanzania’s oldest game reserve renowned for the part it plays in the annual Great Migration, when an estimated three million antelope — mostly wildebeest — migrate to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve.
Depending on your time of arrival, you might go on an evening game drive.
Day 7 and 8 – Serengeti National Park
Each day brings two game drives and each brings something new as such is the nature of Mother Nature, who teases and surprises, constantly re-minding you who’s in charge.
In between game drives, take things leisurely — a really apt word to describe your day as you doze off into a cat nap reading about adventures of past and current explorers on a full stomach.
Day 9 – Depart Serengeti National Park
On the last day of your Tanzania luxury safari, take a short land transfer to Lobo Airstrip for your shared air transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport, for you to catch your subsequent flight back home.
