UPDATE: Vaccinated Travel Lane – Singapore Australia Travel Bubble
Quarantine-free travel is possible for the fully vaccinated under the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) initiative.
Among the VTL conditions, travellers must have been vaccinated for at least two weeks, travel on a designated VTL flight to enter Singapore, have remained in a VTL destination or Singapore for 14 consecutive days, and undertake COVID-19 testing (PCR or professionally-administered ART within 48 hours of departing for Singapore and an unsupervised self-administered ART within 24 hours of arrival in Singapore, with results reported via https://www.sync.gov.sg).
Currently, vaccinated travellers from Singapore can enter Australia with proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR (within 3 days of departure) or ART (within 24 hours of departure). A Digital Passenger Declaration must be submitted within 72 hours of departing for Australia. Travellers are to undertake a self-administered rapid test within 12-24 hours of arrival (depending on the state); a state check-in mobile app may also be required for entry into indoor premises, attractions and events.
Generally, children aged under 5 years are exempt from the pre-departure testing. Those aged under 12 years count as fully vaccinated.
For further information, please refer to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority's VTL guide, the Australian Government website on entering Australia and the State and Territory Information webpage.
